Not too long ago, a young woman had a dream of a country-chic wedding. She wanted something unique, conveniently located, and with an atmosphere of good ‘ol North Dakota prairie.
From that dream, Naastad Acres was born and soon blossomed into a rustic destination!
We now host weddings and special events that blend the best of classic country charm and modern convenience…all of which is just a short paved drive from a small community of Hatton, North Dakota.
The venue is nestled in 10 beautiful acres that is surrounded by farmland. A lush treeline frames the venue and helps set a picturesque setting for your unique wedding day dream.

Our Venue
Our goal here at Naastad Acres is to impress! Our venue has all of rustic charm you would expect from a small town country property while also boasting every modern amenity you could ask for. We have everything you and your wedding party will need for the entire weekend of your dream wedding. While the very best way to experience everything Naastad Acres has to offer is in person by scheduling a tour, we can show you some of our highlights here:
Bull pen
Our recently expanded Bull Pen is the perfect place for your wedding party to unwind and have fun. A mix of lounge and sports bar, it has everything to entertain your wedding party and guests. A bar, pool table, tv’s, plenty of seating, and much much more! Our Bull Pen is one of our favorite features here at Naastad Acres!
The Grain Elevator
From the outside, it looks like a classic farm grain elevator…but don’t let it fool you! You’ll be amazed once you walk inside to see where your wedding party will be staying for the weekend. We’ve turned the inside of this elevator into a “rustic chic” living quarters that can sleep 22 people! Standing directly above our BULL PEN, the inside of our grain elevator features a breathtaking open floorplan with a full kitchen and livingroom, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, and a separate lounging area. Your wedding party will celebrate your big weekend in full Naastad Acres style!
The Hen House
Our Hen House is a guest favorite here at Naastad Acres and it’s where the bride and her gals will begin the wedding day. We packed as much as we could into this tiny little treasure. Once you walk inside, you’ll swear that it’s 3 times as big on the inside as it looks on the outside! There’s a kitchenette, a bathroom, living room area, a beautiful loft that sleeps 2, and 2 full make-up stations! It’s perfect for getting the Bride and bridesmaids ready for the day!
OUR LITTLE RED BARN
The centerpiece of our property and the heart of Naastad Acres is our Little Red Barn. It CAN host small weddings inside on occasion, but for larger ceremonies, this small 2 story barn that we’ve completely refinished will be the beautiful rustic backdrop for your wedding day story. It can also be the setting for your groom’s supper and early morning gift openings. This little red barn has tons of history, charm, and if it wasn’t for this barn…Naastad Acres wouldn’t have been born! Everything here at Naastad Acres has been built around this amazing piece of ND prairie history.
The Yard
The yard at Naastad Acres is where most ceremonies will take place. It’s nestled inside a circle of trees which shelter your ceremony from the wind. The yard features our stunning white pergola where your ceremony will take place, a vast array of wild flowers, and plenty of beautiful locations for your wedding day photos to take place. The yard can accommodate ceremonies of up to 450 people and there’s no other place your guests will rather spend their summer afternoon than sitting in this calming beautiful space watching you get married.
